Heather Deschambeau is the Owner of The Furry Godmother. Animals have always been her passion and there is nothing better than living day to day life surrounded by them. At age six, she welcomed her first dog, Scamper and the pet family grew from there. Over the years, she has had several dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, lizards and mice. Currently, she has a black Lab, named Cupcake.
After working in the Travel industry for ten years and completing her AS in Business Administration, she realized the time was perfect to pursue her dream of starting her own business and working with animals. In a bold move, she quit her 9-5 job and The Furry Godmother was born.
Heather believes that every pet is special and a unique part of ones family. They deserve the upmost respect, love and admiration. She considers her dogs her babies and rest assured that is how Heather will treat each one of the special furry clients she cares for on a daily basis. This is not a job; it is a gift!
